This project was carried out for Mr & Mrs Peachey. Our involvement was as project managers organising individual sub contractors and purchasing client supplied materials, for the external envelopes and as advisor’s on the internal fit out works. The project comprised of the demolition of the original house and construction of a detached houses and annex with associated drives, drains and services.
The main houses were constructed on traditional deep strip foundations because of the near proximity of trees and beam and block ground floor slab. A Custom Homes traditional timber frame with part face brick and part render facades, under a Spanish slate roofs with upvc windows.
The annex was constructed off traditional strip foundations being of split level design to suite the existing ground topography with part ground bearing and part beam and block ground floor slabs. The superstructure was of traditional block construction with a cut roof covered with Spanish slates and rendered with colour render.
