This project was carried out for Plasgellar Care Homes in Brynmawr. Our involvement was as the clients project managers and planning supervisors. The project comprised of the demolition of a rear garage and part new build and conversion of an existing domestic property into a 6 bed care home .
The site was very tight with two elevations being virtually on the boundary lines. The construction was of two traditional block with rendered elevations and a cut roof with stale covering. The internals were completed to a high specification with hardwood joinery and specialised equipment such as Arjo variable height bath and patient hoists.
